Geothermal Training at PWGC, July 20-21
PWGC will be hosting an IGSHPA-led two-day Certification Workshop for the inspection of ground source heat pump systems (GSHPS) in residential and commercial settings.
Inspector accreditation will help you to anticipate critical elements of installation and offer customers a low-maintenance, economical, and environmentally-friendly alternative for their geo comfort needs.

Who should attend?
This course is geared toward code-enforcing inspectors for city and state governments, but also is helpful to installers, developers, architects, manufacturers, distributors, dealers, HVAC contractors, and trenching/drilling contractors who are eager to learn how to inspect ground source heat pump systems in commercial or residential settings.
What do I get out of it?
From taking this course, you will receive a certification to inspect GSHPS and a one year’s membership to the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association (IGSHPA). After passing the IGSHPA inspector’s exam and certification approval you will be classified as an IGSHPA Certified Inspector of GSHPS.
You’ll also receive an inspector’s card and a certificate. This course is AIA approved and attendees will receive 16 PDHs for the course.

The course will cost $800 for IGSHPA & NY-GEO Members and $850 for non-members. There is a $50 discount for IGSHPA & NY-GEO Members who do not need a copy of the Commercial Design Manual, leaving the price at $750. Group discount rates are also available for groups of 5 or more at $132.05 plus tax.
