P.W. Grosser Consulting (PWGC) continues to shape engineering leadership on Long Island, with two of its own taking center stage at the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Long Island Branch Annual Awards Dinner, where Tim D’Agostino, PE, ENV SP, was sworn in as the incoming President of the ASCE Long Island Branch and Jenny Heflich, PE, concluded her term as outgoing President.
The ASCE Long Island Branch Annual Awards Dinner brought together civil and environmental engineering professionals from across Long Island to celebrate excellence in the profession, honor outstanding achievements, and mark the formal transition of branch leadership.
Welcoming a New President: Tim D’Agostino, PE
Tim D’Agostino, PE, Project Manager on PWGC’s Engineering Team, has built a strong record in water supply design, treatment system engineering, and construction project management.
His expertise spans water well design, treatment system development, storage and distribution systems, and construction management and permitting, and he is known for maintaining clear communication between clients, government agencies, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
At PWGC, Tim has led and supported a wide range of technically demanding projects, including the design or rehabilitation of 1,4-Dioxane, PFAS, nitrate, and iron/manganese treatment systems for drinking water supply, geothermal systems for heating and cooling, and water sourcing and storage systems. His experience also includes grant writing, pump and treat systems, dewatering, legionella prevention, and saltwater intrusion investigations.
Tim’s election to the ASCE Long Island Branch presidency reflects both his technical depth and his commitment to the broader engineering community. PWGC congratulates him on this well-deserved recognition and looks forward to the leadership he will bring to the branch.
Honoring an Outgoing President: Jenny Heflich, PE
Jenny Heflich, PE, Project Manager at PWGC with more than 15 years of experience at the firm, concluded her term as President of the ASCE Long Island Branch at the dinner.
Throughout her tenure at PWGC, Jenny has led complex environmental and civil engineering projects spanning water quality investigations, potable water system remediation, legionella prevention programs, stormwater management, and coastal infrastructure rehabilitation. Her project portfolio includes work for Northwell Health Systems, the New York City School Construction Authority, the Village of Sag Harbor, and numerous municipal and institutional clients across the region.
As ASCE Long Island Branch President, Jenny brought the same dedication and professionalism to branch leadership that she brings to every project. PWGC thanks her for her service to the branch and to the engineering profession on Long Island.
