PWGC is providing wastewater engineering and sewer infrastructure design for the Oakdale Extension in Suffolk County, New York.
Selected by the Suffolk County Department of Public Works, PWGC is designing a wastewater collection system that will connect Oakdale to Suffolk County Sewer District No. 3 Southwest. The project builds on PWGC’s previous sewer feasibility work for the Town of Islip and will bring modern wastewater infrastructure to low-lying areas of Oakdale.
- PWGC assembled a multidisciplinary team to design and advance the Oakdale wastewater infrastructure project, including:
- Wastewater collection system design and engineering
- Planning for connection to Suffolk County Sewer District No. 3 Southwest
- Regional wastewater infrastructure assessment
- Sewer feasibility analysis
- Surveying and engineering coordination
- Management of complex project design requirements
- Coordination of engineering, surveying and public relations specialists
- Development of sewer infrastructure for low-lying areas of Oakdale
PWGC is managing the engineering and technical requirements needed to advance the Oakdale Extension. Once completed, the project will provide reliable wastewater collection and connect the Oakdale community to Suffolk County’s existing sewer infrastructure.
