The Dynamic Duo of Stephen Gross and Heather Waszmer join the PWGC team! Their additions will strengthen the capabilities of our Environmental Compliance Division and Engineering Division.
Mr. Gross Senior Wetland Scientist, has nearly 40 years of experience in the environmental/land use profession, with special expertise in wetlands issues, and the preparation and review of environmental impact statements. During this time, he has gained approvals for dozens of projects affecting wetland resources, working with a variety of permitting agencies including the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, New York Department of Environmental Conservation, New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, New York City Department of Environmental Protection, and various local planning, environmental, and wetland commissions.
Ms. Waszmer’s focus as a Staff Engineer is wastewater treatment systems, geothermal heating and cooling systems, and site planning. Her responsibilities throughout the duration of projects are to have direct communication with clients and contractors, project budget and timeline tracking, field monitoring, ensure the projects follow regulations of local, state, and federal agencies, and providing agencies with requested technical materials for permit applications and modifications. She recently graduated from Stony Brook University with a degree in Civil Engineering.
