Stony Brook University (SBU) Engineering students, ranging from seniors to freshman, were welcomed to PWGC’s Bohemia office to learn about the environmental engineering consulting industry, who we are, what we contribute to the industry, how our services provide solutions for our clients, and what drives us to be the best. Additionally, the panel personnel, which consisted of Paul K. Boyce, PE, PG, President/CEO, Tim D’Agostino, PE, Senior Engineer, Pamela Dolce, Staff Engineer, Julia Dinger, Staff Engineer, and Tim Sommer, Staff Engineer, discussed their paths to PWGC, their day-to-day tasks and what projects they are working on, or have worked on, at PWGC.
The night ended with an open forum roundtable discussion where SBU students asked the panel various questions about the industry, PWGC projects, and PWGC services. Students also asked about current career opportunities and how to apply for internships.
We are an advocate for higher learning opportunities, and we are proud to host this roundtable event for SBU engineering students. It is our duty, as a professional firm, to educate the youth and bridge their studies to real-life events.
