Will Henfling, PE, Senior Engineer, is on his way to mastering engineering after passing the professional engineer exam becoming a New York State Licensed Professional Engineer. This accomplishment proves that Will is dedicated and committed to the engineering industry.
Obtaining a Professional Engineer’s (PE) license is a long-term goal of many civil and environmental engineers. Becoming and holding your PE license allows an engineer to sign off on engineering designs and demonstrates dedication and commitment to the field of engineering.
To earn a PE license, the engineer must prove to the New York State Board, or Board of the State the engineer resides in, that the engineer has a minimum of four (4) years of eligible engineering design experience. Once approved for the exam, countless hours of studying and hard work commence.
“I am very proud to have reached this milestone,” said Will. “I am excited to expand my practice as a licensed PE in the State of New York. I would like to thank my PWGC colleagues and mentors for the endless encouragement; I couldn’t have done this without your support!”
Paul K. Boyce, PE, PG, President/CEO of PWGC, states, “It has been amazing to work with Will over the past couple of years and to watch him grow and develop as an engineer. It is a great accomplishment for him to pass the PE exam and earn his license. He has a bright future ahead of him and I am looking forward to being a part of it with him. Congratulations Will!”
PWGC looks forward to seeing how Will builds upon his current accomplishments and successes.
