AN EXPLORATION OF GEOLOGY THROUGHOUT NEW YORK

Derek Ersbak, PG, Senior Project Manager at PWGC, presented “An Exploration of Geology Throughout New York” on August 20th. The presentation was a Long Island Association of Professional Geologists (LIAPG) event. The event was described as,

During the presentation, Derek highlighted the geologic formations and structures at the following sites: the Catskill Escarpment, Panther Mountain, Taughannock Falls, Eternal Flame Falls, Ellenville Fault Ice Caves, Walking Dunes of Long Island, the Ausable Chasm of Keeseville and Peekamoose Blue Hole.
