Omar Aziz joins PWGC as a Field Hydrogeologist to meet the continued demand for the services offered by our Environmental Compliance Unit. We are excited to welcome Omar to the PWGC family and cannot wait to see his professional and personal growth.
Omar, as a Field Hydrogeologist in the Environmental Compliance Unit, will be assisting in completing a variety of environmental compliance projects. His responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, conducting air assessments for various types of industries, acquiring air permits from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and New York City Department of Environmental Protection, completing carbon footprint analyses, hazardous waste inspections/reporting, and petroleum bulk storage inspections.
“I am excited to be a part of the PWGC team designing and implementing solutions to issues as well as helping companies adhere to environmental policy,” Omar said. “I hope that by working with clients on these projects, my passion will inspire them to be proactive about developing sustainable and environmentally friendly practices in all aspects of life.”
