The Ride the Wave Award’s newest rider is Adrian Steinhauff, PG, Senior Hydrogeologist. Adrian’s mentorship, dedication, and loyalty is why Nick selected him as April’s Ride the Wave Award recipient!
“I would like to pass the nomination for the Ride the Wave award to Adrian Steinhoff! Last year I was fortunate to get to work closely with Adrian on the Decontamination and Dismantlement of Building 650 at Brookhaven National Lab. This was the first job at BNL I had the opportunity to work on and Adrian quickly took me under his wing and instantly made me feel supported. In the months I was onsite for that project, Adrian taught me a lot, and I am very grateful for that. Adrian is a dedicated and personable PWGC employee who has been with the firm for years and is as enthusiastic about PWGC as ever. On many occasions he has jokingly told me he has the firm’s logo tattooed on his back – but maybe he isn’t joking! During a time when our industry is seeing so much turnover of employees, I think it’s especially important to recognize our loyal and committed team members – and Adrian is exactly that.
Congratulations Adrian – Ride the wave!”
Adrian says, “Thank you Nick, for the recognition with the Ride the Wave award for the month of April! Many years ago, PWGC started as a small ripple in the ocean of life. For almost 22 years I have been privileged to be a part of the growth and commitment to this ripple becoming a beautiful wave. Bringing Nick to BNL to experience the unique 650 demolishing project was a pleasure and a chance for me to mentor the next generation of wave riders! Thank you and keep growing that wave!”
Check back next month to see who is next up to Ride the Wave!
