RIDE THE WAVE – MAY 2021

May 12, 2021 / PWGC News

Ride the Wave drifts into May where April’s recipient has chosen Erik Dee-Olsen, PE, Director, NYC Office as May’s award recipient. Brian selected Erik due to his guidance, mentorship, and positive attitude.

“My nomination for the Ride the Wave award for May is Erik Dee-Olsen. Erik is someone that I find helpful when looking for advice on matters either technical and project management-related. I’d like to recognize him for his willingness to provide guidance and support to his coworkers at all times. His wide range of experience and positive attitude make him a great mentor to many of us. Like a rising tide that lifts all boats, Erik’s leadership improves the performance of those around him.”

Erik said:

“Thank you very much for all of your support and your kind words. This recognition means a lot to me as my main focus in my career these days is ensuring that all of my colleagues are supported and feel part of the team. I never thought I would come back to PWGC after I departed for the west coast all of those years ago, but I am truly happy that we crossed paths once again and so many familiar faces are still around. I know there are several of you that probably have no idea who I am being in a different office, but I hope that we can change that in the future and perhaps get the chance to work together at some point. From top to bottom, PWGC has excelled in proving that we are all in this together and we are willing to make the changes necessary to be a more complete and synergistic team that leaves no one behind. I really am looking forward to doing what I can to help my colleagues when needed and deliver on some fantastic projects!”

Stay tuned as we continue to Ride the Wave.
